Consultants
John
Burnell
John, as Director,
founded Personnel Solutions in 1994. He is a
Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel
& Development, has an upper second honours
degree and a postgraduate diploma in personnel
management with distinction. Formerly the
director of HR in two large housing
associations, he has also held senior personnel
posts in the public sector and is a well-known
writer on charity employment matters. He is
author of 'Managing People in Charities', parts
of 'Charities Manual', as well as many articles
in the voluntary sector
press.
Jean
Goodland Former
HR director at Greenpeace and the latest member
of the core consultancy team, Jean, as a Fellow
of the Institute, is a leading expert on HR
systems and procedures, as well as offering a
very broad experience in change
management.
Sam Yeboah
Another Fellow of the
Institute, Sam also occupied the top HR post in
a London council, and has particular knowledge
of the management of a wide range of equal
opportunity and diversity issues. Sam is a wing
member of the Employment Appeal Tribunal, the
most senior position open to a lay specialist
in the legal system.
Judith
Lovelace
Also FCIPD qualified,
Judith has had a distinguished public sector
career, including as director of HR of a London
borough. A specialist in career development,
Judith provides mentoring services as well as
undertaking general personnel
assignments.

Alan MacLean, director of Decillion, who are FIMBRA
accredited, has a long and successful career in
pensions advice, and is our recommended partner in
advising clients on the establishment of stakeholder

Led by John Loveridge, they are specialist health and
safety advisers. John trained as an engineer and has
specialised in safety management for over twenty
